The show was founded by Monica Moshenko and has been described by many as educational, inspirational and entertaining. It can be heard Sunday's 5-6PM on WXRL Radio 1300 AM, reaching thousands of listeners from Pennsylvania, Western New York and Toronto, Canada and online at www.disabilitynewsradio.com. Past shows are available on the website as WMA files along with a variety of resources. The archived programs stream in the Windows Media (WMA( format.
Future plans include syndicating the show with a national radio network and broadcasting live five days a week.
Disabilities At Work Internet Talk Radio
Disabilities At Work (DAW) Internet Talk Radio focuses on broad areas of interest to people with disabilities, their advocates, and employers. The show is always searching for topics, ideas, suggestions, sponsors, comments, or speakers.
DAW Radio spotlights businesses that go ‘beyond compliance’ in finding and hiring qualified people with disabilities, or who support people with disabilities through philanthropy or in other ways. The show features corporate VIPs, successful service providers, educators, people with disabilities who have interesting stories, authors, researchers, government officials, elected representatives, and celebrities who have reasons to be involved.
