AMIS: adaptive multimedia information system

AMIS is free of charge, open source DAISY book playback software.

AMIS Software is a part of the DAISY for All (DFA) project, whose goal it is to bring DAISY talking book technology to persons with disabilities in developing countries. The goals are:

  1. To provide playback software in local languages, especially those in Southeast Asia;
  2. To address multiple disabilities by offering a variety of ways to interact with a Daisy publication.

All software developed by this project is open source and released LGPL.
